Over 30 years of experience working with clients to provide bespoke designs for historic buildings.
The owner, Laurane Bubbins is one of only a small proportion of Architects in England who specialise in the repair of old buildings. Laurane Bubbins is the only Architect Accredited in Building Conservation in Bedfordshire who is actually Registered with AABC (Since 2005) and is actually a RIBA Conservation Architect.
AABC is an independent accreditation body established in 1999 for and by skilled conservation architects. The primary purpose of the AABC Register is to protect the historic built environment from damaging interventions devised by people not skilled in historic building conservation and adaptation. To be a RIBA Conservation Architect (CA), you need in-depth knowledge and experience of working with historic buildings.
Do not risk getting a refusal for your Planning application and wasting a lot of money or being left with no specification and schedule of work on site with inexperienced builders. Make sure the builders are qualified in conservation building techniques and are pricing like for like with a fixed price contract that you only sign when you are happy everything is included in their costs and will be built to the right quality.
